Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 2, 2026 · Required by the FTC under 16 CFR Part 255

MONEYlume earns compensation through advertising and affiliate partnerships. This never influences our editorial rankings or recommendations.

How We Make Money

MONEYlume generates revenue through two primary channels:

  1. Display advertising — We serve ads through Google AdSense and direct advertising partners. These ads are clearly labeled.
  2. Affiliate commissions — When you click certain links and apply for or purchase a financial product (credit card, loan, insurance policy, etc.), we may receive a commission from the provider. This does not affect the price you pay.

How Compensation Affects Our Content

We only recommend products and services that we believe provide genuine value to our readers. Affiliate compensation may influence which products appear on certain "best of" lists, and our rankings on those pages. However:

Sponsored Content

Occasionally we publish sponsored articles created in partnership with a financial brand. These are always labeled "Sponsored" or "Paid Partnership" at the top of the article. Sponsored content does not represent the editorial views of MONEYlume.

FTC Compliance

This disclosure is provided in compliance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We believe in full transparency with our readers.
